Course overview

This qualification aims to provide learners with the underpinning knowledge and understanding of a range of topics within the Information and Digital Technology environment. These topics will allow learners to develop practical and theoretical approaches to solving problems and finding solutions using Information and Digital Technologies.

The Level 3 Information and Digital Technologies qualification is available as a 60-credit Diploma. The qualifications are graded Pass, Merit or Distinction.

Entry Requirements

• 5 or more GCSEs at grades C and above or Grade 4 and above
• other related level 2 subjects
• other equivalent international qualifications.
• learners must be over the age of 19 to study this qualification
• learners must also have an appropriate standard of English to enable them to access relevant resources and complete the unit assignments
• Learners will need to have appropriate Level 2 standard in English and in particular Mathematics/Numeracy, so they can access relevant resources and complete the unit tasks and assignments.

Certification

The Diploma is issued by the ATHE – Awarding Organisation, Centre Number 9073 is an accredited and approved deliver Centre for ATHE qualifications.

Progressions

• Upon successful completion of the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, there are several progression opportunities available to learners.
• Learners may progress to the ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Accounting
• Learners may progress to the first year of degree programmes at some universities (see Progression Routes on the ATHE website).
• The ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Accounting can be studied as a pathway to joining the IFA Direct Programme and gaining IFA membership
• The IFA is an internationally recognised professional accountancy membership body. It is a full member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) the global accounting standard-setter and regulator. Further details can be obtained from the IFA – www.ifa.org.uk or education@ifa.org.uk

Assessment

• Assignment drafts must be submitted within 1 week of the completion of the unit delivery by the lecturer.
• Submission is to be emailed to learnerwork@course4u.co.uk
• All submissions are to be done in Word Format
• You should receive an automated response that the assignment has been received
• Lecturers provide feedback within 2 weeks of submission of the draft
• Please ensure that assignment declarations are submitted with the assignments.

Enrolment Process

Step 1: Complete the Online Enrolment form
Kindly upload - Proof of identity (Passport or Photo Drivers Licence), previous qualifications, CV and work experience letters if applicable for exemption or Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL).

Step 2: Course 4 U will issue a Conditional Offer Letter

The offer letter has details of the Bank payment and how to make payment online via the secure sage pay system.

Step 3: Registration with awarding organisation

As the registration process is completed, several emails to set up the course logins will be sent within the hour. 

Step 4: Online Induction
Induction, course discussion and demonstration to Learner Management System (LMS)
