The OTHM Level 3 Certificate in Python offered by Courses4U is aimed at learners seeking to acquire essential programming knowledge in Python. The Total Qualification Time (TQT) is 360 hours, and the Guided Learning Hours (GLH) are 180. Entry Requirements
Learners should be 16 years or older. There are no formal prerequisites, but a working knowledge of English and a basic interest in computers and programming is recommended. Mature learners with relevant experience may also be considered. Applicants from non-majority English-speaking countries should demonstrate proficiency in English, typically through an IELTS 5.0 score or equivalent.
Certification
The Diploma is issued by OTHM - Awarding Organisation. Courses 4 U is is an Accredited Centre for OTHM Qualification and the Centre Number is DC2009448. See a sample certificate issued by OTHM. Also, please note that OTHM does not issue printed certificates by an e-certificate to avoid piracy and forgery. As a learner you can order a print version from the OTHM portal on recieving the details.
Progressions
Upon successful completion of the OTHM Level 3 Certificate in Python, learners can advance to higher-level qualifications such as the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Cyber Security or related Level 4 programmes in information technology and software development.
Being Ofqual-regulated, this qualification is recognised by UK universities and global academic institutions, potentially enabling direct entry to further undergraduate-level IT studies or roles in programming and development.
Assessment
All units within this qualification are assessed and internally quality assured by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. The qualifications are criterion-referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes.
To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria. A judgement that the learners have successfully fulfilled the assessment criteria is made by the assessor. Specific assessment guidance and relevant marking criteria for each unit are made available in the Assignment Brief document.
The assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the judgement of the learners’ overall achievement has been arrived at.

Step 2: Course 4 U will issue a Conditional Offer Letter
The offer letter has details of the Bank payment and how to make payment online via the secure sage pay system.
Step 3: Registration with awarding organisation
As the registration process is completed, several emails to set up the course logins will be sent within the hour.
Step 4: Online Induction
