Course overview
The objective of the Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice qualifications is to develop learners’ understanding of theory and practice relating to their quality assurance role in education. It will provide knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective quality assurance practitioner. The units combine both theoretical and practical knowledge in the education profession and will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of effective performance, planning and accountability, and development.
Successful completion of these qualifications will enable learners to gain an internal quality assurance role or to develop within that role, and to lead a team of internal quality assurance practitioners. Learners will also be able to work in a variety of other roles within education administration and/or management.
The Level 4 Award consists of 2 mandatory units for a combined total of 12 credits.

Entry Requirements
• Learners with Level 3 assessor qualifications
• Learners with relevant work experience within teaching, coaching and training sector
• Learners should be over the age of 18 years old.
Certification
The Diploma is issued by OTHM - Awarding Organisation. Courses 4 U is is an Accredited Centre for OTHM Qualification and the Centre Number is DC2009448. See a sample certificate issued by OTHM. Also, please note that OTHM does not issue printed certificates by an e-certificate to avoid piracy and forgery. As a learner you can order a print version from the OTHM portal on recieving the details.
Progressions
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress into employment as an assessor or as a lead assessor or lead Internal Quality Assurer for an centre or an organisation. This Qualification is Required for:
• Verifiers involved in National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) for the next three years. Those who deliver these qualifications will need to be qualified to meet the requirements of the NVQ Code of Practice and Sector Skills Councils assessment strategies.
• Quality assurance staff who deliver QCF qualifications that use the term ‘NVQ’ in their title will also need these qualifications.
• Some staff, who are quality assuring qualifications within the QCF framework that do not use the term ‘NVQ’ in their titles, but whose purpose is to confirm occupational competence, will need to hold this IQA qualification.
• This qualification will be helpful for teachers in schools who deliver vocational qualifications with applied learning, such as BTEC
Assessment
• Assignment drafts must be submitted within 1 week of the completion of the unit delivery by the lecturer.
• Submission is to be emailed to learnerwork@course4u.co.uk
• All submissions are to be done in Word Format
• You should receive an automated response that the assignment has been received
• Lecturers provide feedback within 2 weeks of submission of the draft
• Please ensure that assignment declarations are submitted with the assignments.

Enrolment Process
Step 1: Complete the Online Enrolment form
Kindly upload - Proof of identity (Passport or Photo Drivers Licence), previous qualifications, CV and work experience letters if applicable for exemption or Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL).
Step 2: Course 4 U will issue a Conditional Offer Letter
The offer letter has details of the Bank payment and how to make payment online via the secure sage pay system.
Step 3: Registration with awarding organisation
As the registration process is completed, several emails to set up the course logins will be sent within the hour.
Step 4: Online Induction
Induction, course discussion and demonstration to Learner Management System (LMS)
