Accounting and finance are at the very heart of business operations. From banking to manufacturing, from huge service industries to micro businesses, the ability to manage, plan and account for money is still the ultimate measure of business success and the key driver of growth.
The objective of the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Accounting and Business qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required by a middle manager in an organisation that may be involved in the areas of business strategy, financial management, financial reporting, financial planning and control, and human resource management. Learners will also integrate their knowledge and skills and learn about the world of business start-ups and how to develop a business plan.

Entry Requirements
For entry onto the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Accounting and Business qualification, learners must possess:
• Relevant Level 4 diploma or equivalent recognised qualification
• Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course
• Mature learners (over 21) with management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
• If you are not from a majority English-speaking country, you must provide evidence of English language competency. See the English Language Expectations page on the OTHM website.
Certification
The Diploma is issued by OTHM Qualifications, the awarding organisation. Courses 4U Limited (Number DC2009448) is an accredited and approved delivery centre for OTHM qualifications. See a sample certificate issued by OTHM.
OTHM issues e-certificates rather than printed certificates, to protect against forgery. Once you receive your details, you can order a printed copy from the OTHM portal.
Progressions
Successful completion of the Level 5 Diploma in Accounting and Business qualification provides learners the opportunity for a wide range of academic progressions including progression to the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Accounting and Business, and other relevant OTHM Level 6 Diplomas.
As this qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners are eligible to gain direct entry into the final year of a three-year UK Bachelor's degree. For more information visit the University Progressions page on the OTHM website.

Assessment
• Assignment drafts must be submitted within 1 week of the completion of the unit delivery by the lecturer.
• Submission is to be emailed to learnerwork@course4u.co.uk
• All submissions are to be done in Word Format
• You should receive an automated response that the assignment has been received
• Lecturers provide feedback within 2 weeks of submission of the draft
• Please ensure that assignment declarations are submitted with the assignments.

Enrolment Process
Step 1: Complete the Online Enrolment form
Kindly upload - Proof of identity (Passport or Photo Drivers Licence), previous qualifications, CV and work experience letters if applicable for exemption or Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL).
Step 2: Course 4 U will issue a Conditional Offer Letter
The offer letter has details of the Bank payment and how to make payment online via the secure sage pay system.
Step 3: Registration with awarding organisation
As the registration process is completed, several emails to set up the course logins will be sent within the hour.
