Course overview
The objective of the OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Project Management is to develop a learner’s practical project management skills and prepare them to work in a wide range of contexts. Learners will study level 4 and 5 units, worth 120 credits per academic year with a total credit value of 240 credits (equivalent to the first 2 years of an honours degree). The Level 4 units provide an introduction to relevant project management principles and practice. These units include both theoretical and practical content, and learners will be able to gain knowledge and skills in the areas of project management, people management, and business finance as well as business marketing. They will also learn about the importance of reflecting on their current practice, identifying their own learning needs and professional development.
The Level 5 units give learners the opportunity to progress in specific subject areas. Learners will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of operations management, project quality management, business strategy, responsible business practices, project planning and execution and digital business practices.

Entry Requirements
• These qualifications are designed for learners who are typically aged 18 and above.
• Relevant Level 3 Diploma qualification or equivalent qualification
• GCE Advanced level in 2 subjects or equivalent qualification
• Mature learners (over 21) with relevant management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
• If you are not from a majority English-speaking country, you must provide evidence of English language competency. See the English Language Expectations page on the OTHM website.
Certification
The Extended Diploma is issued by OTHM Qualifications, the awarding organisation. Courses 4U Limited (Number DC2009448) is an accredited and approved delivery centre for OTHM qualifications. See a sample certificate issued by OTHM.
OTHM issues e-certificates rather than printed certificates, to protect against forgery. Once you receive your details, you can order a printed copy from the OTHM portal.
Progressions
The OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Project Management qualification enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their further study.
As this qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners are also eligible to gain direct entry into Year 3 of a three-year UK Bachelor's degree programme. Assessment
• Assignment drafts must be submitted within 1 week of the completion of the unit delivery by the lecturer.
• Submission is to be emailed to learnerwork@course4u.co.uk
• All submissions are to be done in Word Format
• You should receive an automated response that the assignment has been received
• Lecturers provide feedback within 2 weeks of submission of the draft
• Please ensure that assignment declarations are submitted with the assignments.

Enrolment Process
Step 1: Complete the Online Enrolment form
Kindly upload - Proof of identity (Passport or Photo Drivers Licence), previous qualifications, CV and work experience letters if applicable for exemption or Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL).
Step 2: Course 4 U will issue a Conditional Offer Letter
The offer letter has details of the Bank payment and how to make payment online via the secure sage pay system.
Step 3: Registration with awarding organisation
As the registration process is completed, several emails to set up the course logins will be sent within the hour.
