The objective of the OTHM Level 7 Certificate in Research Methods qualification is to develop learners’ ability to prepare for various types of academically based research through the development and design of a research proposal. Learners will develop a critical understanding of the philosophical, practical and ethical concepts of research within the context of any environment.

Entry Requirements
For entry onto the OTHM Level 7 Certificate in Research Methods qualification, learners must possess:
• An honours degree or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification.
• Mature learners with management experience
• Learners must be 21 years old or older at the beginning of the course.
• UK Versity will assess the level of English language proficiency if it is not your native language
Certification
The certificate is issued by the OTHM – Awarding Organisation. UK Versity (DC1506132) is an accredited and approved delivery Centre for Qualification qualifications.
Progressions
You’ll earn 20 credits at Masters level (Level 7) on successful completion of this course. You can use your credits towards further study, including progress to an MBA top-up at London Graduate School. For more information visit UK Versity progressions page.
Assessment
• Assignment drafts must be submitted within 1 week of the completion of the unit delivery by the lecturer.
• Submission is to be emailed to learnerwork@course4u.co.uk
• All submissions are to be done in Word Format
• You should receive an automated response that the assignment has been received
• Lecturers provide feedback within 2 weeks of submission of the draft
• Please ensure that assignment declarations are submitted with the assignments.

Enrolment Process
Step 1: Complete the Online Enrolment form
Kindly upload - Proof of identity (Passport or Photo Drivers Licence), previous qualifications, CV and work experience letters if applicable for exemption or Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL).
Step 2: Course 4 U will issue a Conditional Offer Letter
The offer letter has details of the Bank payment and how to make payment online via the secure sage pay system.
Step 3: Registration with awarding organisation
As the registration process is completed, several emails to set up the course logins will be sent within the hour.
Step 4: Online Induction
Induction, course discussion and demonstration to Learner Management System (LMS)
